Adding a Data Store

Data stores are added through the Data Store Manager page using the “+” button at the bottom of the screen.

Pressing this button launches a dialog from which you can choose the data store type to be added.

Adding a Database

After choosing “Database”, the following dialog is presented.

A unique name for the data store must be provided (unique within the tenant).

Additionally, you will be prompted to choose a tier which comes with performance and storage implications.

  • Small
  • Medium
  • Large

The tier should be decided in consultation with the Neuroverse team taking into account the specific usage scenario.

Adding an Ingestion Database

The tenant only requires at most 1 ingestion database. Use this option if using the Neuroverse data ingestion services.

NOTE: In most cases, the use of a data lake and other ingestion methods is recommended.

Adding a Data Lake (Gen 2)

After choosing to add a Data Lake (Gen 2) the following dialogue is presented

A unique name within the tenant must be chosen.

NOTE: when adding a Data Lake always choose a Gen 2 Data Lake.
